KATSINA, Nigeria – Alhaji Kabir Bature has resigned as chairman of the Katsina State Pilgrim Welfare Board, a position he held since his appointment by Governor Dikko Umar Radda in 2023.

Bature announced his resignation in a letter to the Secretary to the Katsina State Government. He did not provide specific reasons for his decision.

In his letter, Bature expressed gratitude to Governor Radda for the opportunity to serve and highlighted his commitment to the people of Katsina during his tenure at the board. He also thanked the state government and various stakeholders for their support.
