Fire guts Oluku Market in Edo hours after residents scoop fuel from fallen tanker [VIDEO]

A fire broke out at Oluku Market in Benin City, Edo State, Thursday morning, following the overturning of a petroleum tanker near the market’s buildings.

Witnesses reported that shortly after the tanker spilled its cargo, residents flocked to the scene with jerrycans to collect the fuel. The situation escalated, resulting in the subsequent fire outbreak.
