2027: APC campaign council reshuffles youth, women mobilisation teams

The PBAT/APC 2027 Presidential Campaign Council has announced significant changes to its leadership structure, including the establishment of a new directorate focused on stage organization and management in preparation for the upcoming general elections.
In a statement released Monday, Hope Uzodimma, the Governor of Imo State and council secretary, detailed these appointments aimed at enhancing coordination, fortifying the council’s infrastructure, and improving operational efficiency.
Farouk Aliyu has been appointed as the head of the Directorate of Stage Organisation and Management, with Adejare Bello serving as co-director.
Additionally, Youth Development Minister Ayodele Olawande will lead youth mobilization efforts, supported by Dayo Israel as his deputy. For women mobilization, Mary Aille Idele has been appointed as director, with Betta Edu as deputy director and Imaan Suleman serving as secretary.
Uzodimma emphasized that these appointments are intended to create a well-organized and inclusive campaign structure, focused on garnering support for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027. He expects the appointees to utilize their expertise and organizational skills effectively and work collaboratively with other directorates to execute the council’s mobilization and campaign strategies.
These leadership changes coincide with the All Progressives Congress’s preparations for the 2027 presidential election, where mobilization of youth and women is being prioritized as a critical component of the campaign.
