According to OptaJoe, Neto’s performance marked the first hat-trick by a Chelsea player on a Friday since George Hilsdon achieved the feat against Middlesbrough in January 1909. Additionally, it was the first recorded hat-trick by a top-flight player on a Friday the 13th.
