EPL: Ian Wright, Gary Neville, Roy Keane predict Liverpool vs Arsenal
Arsenal will visit Anfield on Sunday with the opportunity to reclaim first place in the Premier League standings, following Manchester City’s 1-0 loss to Brighton on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Liverpool, managed by Andoni Iraola, aims to secure a vital win to inch closer to a top-four finish in the league.
Arsenal legend Ian Wright expressed confidence in his former team’s prospects during an appearance on “Stick to Football.” “I think we beat them,” he said. “This is the game that kind of defines Liverpool if they are coming back. You’re looking at [Alexis] Mac Allister and [Cody] Gakpo to step up… but deep down, I really think we beat them. 2-1 Arsenal.”
In contrast, former Manchester United captain Roy Keane suggested a more cautious outcome. “I’m thinking draw; Liverpool did well against City until the red card, 1-1?”
Gary Neville weighed in, asserting that Arsenal’s approach would be defensive. “Arsenal will play for a point,” he predicted.
