Govs under Tinubu lazy, their impact not felt – Primate Ayodele

Primate Elijah Ayodele, leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has criticized state governors affiliated with the Bola Tinubu administration, labeling them as ineffective and complacent in their duties.
In a statement released by Osho Oluwatosin, the head of communications for the church, Ayodele voiced concerns over the allocation of funds received from the federation account. He claims that these governors are prioritizing expenditures that do not contribute to the economic well-being of their states.
Ayodele urged governors to redirect their focus from campaign spending to initiatives that would benefit their constituents. “Governors in this Tinubu regime are very lazy,” he stated. “They are generating more revenue, yet the people do not experience its positive impact.”
He emphasized the need for these leaders to consider the long-term welfare of their residents, adding, “They shouldn’t spend all they make on campaigns because, after politics, the people will remain; they should also work towards improving their states.”
