‘Where does he play’ – NBA star, Edwards mocks Ronaldo

NBA Star Anthony Edwards Responds to Cristiano Ronaldo’s Comments

Inglewood, Calif.—NBA player Anthony Edwards, commonly known as Ant-Man, made headlines over the weekend after commenting on a claim by soccer icon Cristiano Ronaldo that he does not recognize the basketball star.

Speaking at the Intuit Dome on Sunday, Edwards donned a jersey representing Argentina national team player Lionel Messi during the NBA All-Star Game. The 24-year-old emerged as the game’s Most Valuable Player (MVP) after leading the USA Stars to a decisive 47-21 victory over the USA Stripes.

When asked if he was familiar with Ronaldo, Edwards responded with surprise, as quoted by Sportskeeda, “Cristiano Ronaldo, who’s that? I can’t f*ck with him! Where does he play?”

Currently, Ronaldo plays for Al-Nassr, a club in Saudi Arabia, while Messi competes in Major League Soccer with Inter Miami in the United States.

Together, Ronaldo and Messi have each secured multiple Ballon d’Or awards, totaling 13 between them, and are widely celebrated as two of the greatest football players in history.
