NPFL: Ranchers Bees appoint Ma’aji Muhammad as technical adviser
Kaduna-based Ranchers Bees have appointed Muhammad as the new head coach, replacing Usman Abd’allah, who was dismissed on Saturday following a disappointing start to the 2026/27 Nigeria Premier Football League season.
Under Abd’allah, the team recorded two victories, two draws, and five losses across nine league matches. Currently, Ranchers Bees sit in 19th place on the NPFL table, accumulating eight points so far this season.
The club is looking to Muhammad’s experience to help guide them out of the relegation zone. He will lead the team in his first match against Doma United at the Sani Abacha Stadium in Kano this weekend.
