WAFCON 2026: Super Falcons open camp in Yaounde February 25

The Super Falcons of Nigeria will commence training in Yaoundé, Cameroon, next Wednesday in preparation for two friendly matches against the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon, according to DAILY POST.
Head coach Justine Madugu announced a 25-player roster for the upcoming games on Thursday. The squad is expected to travel directly to Yaoundé from their respective locations.
These friendlies will serve as a key preparation step for both teams ahead of the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations. The Super Falcons have been placed in Group C alongside Malawi, Zambia, and Egypt, while Cameroon will compete against Cape Verde, Mali, and Ghana. The tournament is scheduled to take place from March 17 to April 3, 2026.
