Antoine Griezmann, a key player for Atletico Madrid, is reportedly on the verge of transferring to Orlando City. Discussions between the two clubs regarding the move have reached an advanced stage.
Football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano shared updates on social media platform X, stating, “Orlando City advance in talks to sign Antoine Griezmann from Atlético Madrid. Orlando wants Griezmann to join in the coming weeks following director Ricardo Moreira’s meetings in Madrid.”
Griezmann’s potential exit comes shortly after Atletico Madrid secured the services of Ademola Lookman from Atalanta. The La Liga club appears open to allowing the French forward to depart, particularly as Lookman has made a strong impact since joining, tallying four goals and two assists since his arrival in January.
