UCL: Real Madrid suffer major injury blow ahead of Benfica second leg

Real Madrid is expected to be without Kylian Mbappé for their Champions League play-off match against Benfica on Wednesday night.
The 27-year-old forward sustained a knee injury during Tuesday’s training session. He exited practice after expressing ongoing pain in his left leg. Subsequent medical evaluations indicated that he will be unable to participate in the match, which poses a significant challenge for manager Álvaro Arbeloa, despite Madrid holding a 1-0 advantage from the first leg.
The duration of Mbappé’s absence remains uncertain.
