Super Falcons Arrive in Yaoundé for Friendlies Against Cameroon
YAOUNDE, Cameroon — Nigeria’s national women’s soccer team, the Super Falcons, have arrived in Yaoundé as they prepare for two friendly matches against the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon.
The team touched down in Cameroon’s capital on Wednesday. Head coach Justine Madugu accompanied his assistants, along with two home-based players, Anderline Mgbechi and Fatima Oloko, who traveled from Abuja.
Foreign-based players are anticipated to join the squad in camp later today.
The first match is scheduled for Saturday, followed by a second game next Tuesday, also in Yaoundé.
