Super Falcons Prepare for Upcoming Friendlies Against Cameroon

Nigeria’s Super Falcons are intensifying their preparation for a pair of friendlies against Cameroon, ahead of the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations set to take place in Morocco next month.

The team, under the guidance of coach Justine Madugu, held their first training session on Wednesday at the Stade Omnisport Ahmadu Ahidjo annex in Yaoundé. On Thursday, they transitioned to the main pitch for further practice.

A total of 20 players participated in Thursday’s training session. Key players, including goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie, Michelle Alozie, Osinachi Ohale, and Chiwendu Ihezuo, were expected to arrive in camp the previous evening.

Wing-back Chidinma Okeke and midfielder Halimat Ayinde are anticipated to join the team on Friday.

The Super Falcons are set to face Cameroon on Saturday, with the second friendly scheduled for next Tuesday. Both matches will be held at the Military Stadium in Yaoundé.
