Nigerian Striker Stephen Odey Joins Hungarian Club Debreceni VSC
Nigerian striker Stephen Odey has signed with Hungarian club Debreceni VSC, the DAILY POST reported. The 28-year-old, who joined on a free transfer, previously played for Randers in the Danish Superliga before parting ways with the club last December after his contract expired.
Odey spent four and a half years with Randers, making 129 appearances and scoring 28 goals. His career also includes stints with FC Zurich in Switzerland, KRC Genk in Belgium, and Amiens SC in France’s second division.
During his time at FC Zurich, Odey won the Swiss Cup, and he also clinched the Belgian Super Cup with Genk. Throughout his professional career, he has found the back of the net 83 times across various leagues.
