Super Eagles goalkeeper debunks match-fixing allegations

Obasogie Denies Match-Fixing Allegations
Super Eagles goalkeeper Amas Obasogie has publicly denied allegations of involvement in match-fixing, according to reports from DAILY POST.
The 26-year-old player, who was recently suspended for three months by Tanzanian Premier League club Singida Black Stars SC, asserted his intention to clear his name.
Obasogie faces accusations related to the manipulation of outcomes in both a CAF Confederation Cup match and a domestic league game. He contends that the goals he conceded during those matches were the result of errors on the field rather than intentional misconduct.
The former Bendel Insurance goalkeeper is scheduled to appear before a disciplinary committee to address the allegations and defend his reputation.
