Bandit attacks kill 12 in Katsina communities
At least 12 people were killed on Sunday during coordinated attacks by bandits on communities in Mazoji Ward, Katsina State.
Security analyst Bakatsine reported via social media that the violence occurred in the Matazu Local Government Area. He detailed that two individuals were killed in Dugul, one in Hayin Nomau, and nine in the Salihawar Maruji/Salihawa Saminu area.
Bakatsine noted that the attacks have left families in mourning and communities fearful, highlighting the ongoing insecurity affecting rural regions in the state.
As of now, there has been no official statement from the state government or law enforcement regarding the incidents.
