BREAKING: Badejo-Okusanya emerges NBA President

Oyinkansola Badejo-Okusanya Elected 33rd President of Nigerian Bar Association
Senior Advocate of Nigeria Oyinkansola Badejo-Okusanya has been elected as the 33rd President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA).
In the national election held on Saturday, Badejo-Okusanya received a total of 12,317 votes, accounting for 47.18 percent of the votes cast. She triumphed over her main opponents, Lateef Akangbe, who secured 7,934 votes, and Olumuyiwa Akinboro, who received 5,855 votes.
The NBA’s national executive also saw new appointments. Oghenero Okoro was elected First Vice President with 11,024 votes, while Afam Okeke became the General Secretary, receiving 8,478 votes. Aghogho Gladys was elected as Assistant General Secretary with 14,312 votes, and Chinelo Audrey Ofoegbunam secured the position of Welfare Secretary with 14,911 votes, among other successful candidates.
