CAF Confederation Cup: Shooting Stars off to Tunisia for Sfaxien return leg

Shooting Stars of Nigeria departed for Tunisia on Wednesday, embarking on the second leg of their CAF Confederation Cup first preliminary round match against CS Sfaxien. The team, consisting of players and officials, left Murtala Mohammed International Airport in Lagos and will make a brief stopover in Casablanca, Morocco.

This match marks a significant occasion for the Oluyole Warriors, as it represents their first away trip in continental competition in 27 years.

The return leg is scheduled for Sunday at Stade Taieb Mhiri in Sfax, with kickoff set for 6 p.m. Nigerian time. Shooting Stars will enter the match with a narrow 1-0 advantage from the first leg.
