Carabao Cup: 9 teams qualify for fourth round [Full list]
Four additional teams have secured their spots in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup following a series of competitive matches.
Brighton & Hove Albion advanced by overcoming Manchester United 3-2 at Old Trafford. Shea Lacey initially put the Red Devils ahead, and Mason Mount extended their lead as United appeared poised for victory. However, Brighton mounted a strong comeback in the second half, with goals from Charalampos Kostoulas, Pascal Gross, and Maxim De Cuyper sealing their win.
In other matches, Aston Villa defeated Coventry City 3-1, while Fleetwood Town recorded a narrow 1-0 victory over Sheffield United. Everton also triumphed, edging out Wolverhampton Wanderers 1-0 at Hill Dickinson Stadium.
These four teams will join Arsenal, Liverpool, Brentford, Peterborough, and Fulham in the fourth round of the tournament.
