‘Delete my number’ – Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Guardiola, Grealish react to Haaland’s new haircut
Erling Haaland’s new haircut has drawn reactions from a notable trio in the football world, including former Paris Saint-Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, former Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola, and current Manchester City attacking midfielder Jack Grealish.
The Norway international showcased his fresh look following Manchester City’s 2-1 victory over Bournemouth in the Premier League on Sunday, opting to cut his long hair, which he had sported for an extended period as the new season commenced.
Following the match, Haaland reached out via video call to Gupta and Grealish, as well as Ibrahimovic. Prior to calling the Swedish forward, he seemed to recall Ibrahimovic’s previous warning about altering his hairstyle.
When Ibrahimovic answered, he quipped, “What did you do? You lost a bet or what? Block me and erase my number.”
Guardiola, meanwhile, expressed enthusiasm for Haaland’s hair, stating, “No way. You are lucky you have hair. I’d love to have it. I love it.”
Grealish added humor to the exchange, saying, “You look about 10 years old. That’s hilarious.”
