Police Arrest Suspected Cult Leader in Delta State
Oghara, Delta State — The Delta State Police Command’s Anti-Cult Unit has apprehended a 28-year-old man identified as Christopher Ogidigbo, who is suspected to be a leader of the Supreme Vikings Confraternity. The arrest occurred on May 15, 2026, around 12:30 p.m. in Oghara, located within the Ethiope-West Local Government Area.
According to a statement released by Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bright Edafe, the arrest was made following actionable intelligence. During the operation, authorities recovered a locally made revolver pistol from Ogidigbo.
The police are continuing investigations to determine Ogidigbo’s potential involvement in additional criminal activities.
