Ekiti Decides: INEC distributing uncollected PVCs to APC – Fayose alleges  [VIDEO]

ALLEGATIONS SURROUNDING VOTER CARD DISTRIBUTION IN EKITI ELECTION

Isaac Fayose, the younger brother of former Ekiti State Governor Ayo Fayose, has raised concerns regarding the distribution of Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). He claims that INEC is providing uncollected PVCs to members of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Fayose made these allegations on Saturday, coinciding with the ongoing Ekiti governorship election, where notable candidates include the incumbent APC Governor Biodun Oyebanji and Oluwole Oluyede of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

In a video shared on X, Fayose alleged significant electoral manipulation tied to the distribution of unclaimed voter cards.

He stated, “No opposition party can win election in Nigeria. Look at what INEC is doing in Ekiti. INEC is handing APC the voters cards that weren’t picked up. APC are now paying non-indigenes N20,000 to use those voters cards to vote for APC.”

This accusation raises questions about the integrity of the electoral process as the election unfolds.
