EPL: Gary Neville predicts scoreline of Man Utd vs Man City
Former England defender Gary Neville has made his prediction for the upcoming Premier League derby between Manchester United and Manchester City, set to take place at Old Trafford on Sunday evening.
In a recent appearance on the sports platform Overlap, Neville expressed optimism for Manchester United, forecasting a 2-1 victory over their rivals.
“If I look at Sunday, it’s a new City and a few of them won’t have gone there [to Old Trafford],” Neville noted. He added, “I think United are going to win, but if you asked what the score is going to be, I would say 2-1 to United.”
Currently, Manchester City leads the Premier League standings with 9 points from three matches, while Manchester United finds itself in eleventh place.
