EPL: Hurzeler calls for patience as Azeez waits for Brighton debut

Brighton & Hove Albion head coach Fabian Hurzeler announced that Femi Azeez is not yet ready to make his competitive debut for the club.
Azeez, an international player from Nigeria, joined Brighton on transfer deadline day after leaving Millwall, a team in the Sky Bet Championship. However, his debut has been postponed due to an injury sustained on the opening day of the Championship season while he was still with Millwall.
During the recent three-week international break, Azeez participated in a private practice match. Despite this, Hurzeler indicated that the player is still acclimating to the physical demands of his new environment.
“He played in a friendly game and he had some minor issues this week,” Hurzeler said, as reported by The Argus. “What I mean by that is his body needs to adapt to our intensity, to our demands, the demands in the Premier League.”
As Brighton prepares for its upcoming match against Sunderland on Saturday, Hurzeler emphasized the importance of Azeez’s adaptation process.
