Evra predicts how many more years Ronaldo will keep playing football

Former Manchester United Defender Predicts Cristiano Ronaldo’s Future in Football

Former Manchester United defender Patrice Evra has shared his thoughts on the future of Portuguese football star Cristiano Ronaldo and how much longer he might continue his playing career.

Evra and Ronaldo were teammates at Manchester United during their time at Old Trafford. Evra, who retired from professional football in 2019, recalled their experiences together, highlighting Ronaldo’s commitment to his craft.

Now at 41 years of age, Ronaldo is preparing for another season with Saudi club Al-Nassr after competing in the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

In an interview with Heavy Sports, Evra praised Ronaldo’s professionalism, noting, “I never played with anybody else who was more professional than Cristiano. Training was at 10 a.m., and this guy was showing up at 8 a.m., practicing everything.”

Evra elaborated on Ronaldo’s dedication, adding, “I feel that Cristiano has a nice disease. He’s addicted to working hard and to pushing himself.”

He expressed confidence in Ronaldo’s physical capabilities, stating, “And that is why I am not surprised by his longevity. He can still play for another one or two years, and I wouldn’t be surprised.”
