Taiwo Hassan, the renowned Nollywood actor known as ‘Ogogo,’ passed away on Sunday, prompting the resurfacing of a poignant video in which he shared details about his years-long battle with serious health issues.

In the video, Hassan spoke candidly about the severe symptoms he endured, including intense chest pain, episodes of vomiting blood, and ulcers. He described moments that left him in fear for his life.

Hassan, who stated he did not smoke or consume alcohol, recalled a particularly alarming experience while en route to a film location when he felt a sharp chest pain that radiated to his back. The discomfort he experienced was profound and concerning.

“I don’t smoke cigarettes or weed. Those who know me well know that if I take a bottle of beer, I will finish it down with two bottles of Schweppes. I’ll keep that bottle till daybreak,” he explained, underscoring his lifestyle choices.

He continued, sharing, “I spent almost six years battling this illness. I had ulcers and would vomit blood for seven months. I prayed while sitting.”
