‘I’m ready for you’ – Oshiomhole clashes with Arise TV’s Rufai Oseni

Adams Oshiomhole, a former governor of Edo State and current senator representing Edo North, engaged in a contentious exchange with Arise Television presenter Rufai Oseni during an interview on the station’s Morning Show on Friday.

The altercation arose as Oseni posed questions regarding the actions of Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike, Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma, and President Bola Tinubu’s recent trip to Saudi Arabia. Oshiomhole expressed frustration at Oseni’s interviewing style, accusing him of interrupting his responses.

“I would appreciate it if you could allow me to answer the questions without interruption,” Oshiomhole stated. “You must treat me as a guest with respect.” He emphasized the importance of adhering to international best practices in the interview process.

Despite the heated moment, Oshiomhole maintained that there is no perceived favoritism toward Wike in political circles. The interview reflected ongoing discussions surrounding political dynamics in Nigeria.
