Viral Video Alleges Abduction Plot in Rivers State

A video circulating on social media platform X has drawn significant attention following claims that a man named Adawari Samuel Ogolo has been taken captive by suspected kidnappers. Reports suggest that Ogolo had allegedly contacted these individuals with an intention to abduct his elder brother and sister in Rivers State.

In the video, witnesses assert that Ogolo was negotiating the abduction when the circumstances turned against him, resulting in his own kidnapping. The video claims that the suspected kidnappers chose not to target Ogolo’s brother, Tammy Samuel Ogolo, describing him as “a good man with a kind heart.”

Adawari Samuel Ogolo is identified as the first son of the second wife of Senior Pastor Samuel Ogolo, who is the founder of a church in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

Additionally, the video alleges that the kidnappers are demanding a ransom of N10 million for the release of Ogolo, who is described as the instigator of the failed plot. A voice purportedly belonging to one of the kidnappers states, “Do you know I have eaten his money and I don’t know he’s your brother? He’s better than you.”

As the situation develops, authorities have not yet confirmed the authenticity of the video or the claims presented.
