El-Kanemi Warriors Appoint King Emmanuel as New Technical Adviser
MAIDUGURI, Nigeria — El-Kanemi Warriors have officially announced King Emmanuel as their new technical adviser, according to reports from DAILY POST. The unveiling ceremony occurred on Friday at the Colonel Abdulmumin Aminu Camp in Maiduguri.
Emmanuel succeeds Kabiru Dogo, who departed from the position following the conclusion of the previous season. Dogo led the team to victory in the 2026 President Federation Cup but has since joined Niger Tornadoes.

Last season, El-Kanemi Warriors faced relegation from the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL). Emmanuel’s primary objective will be to facilitate the club’s immediate return to the top-flight division.
In addition to their league ambitions, the Maiduguri-based club is set to compete in the CAF Confederation Cup next season.
