Bendel Insurance has officially signed defender David Adekunle for the upcoming 2026–27 season, according to reports from DAILY POST.
Adekunle has signed a one-year contract with the club, having previously played for Abia Warriors. The management of Bendel Insurance indicated that this move is part of their strategy to strengthen the team’s defense for the new season.
“The former Abia Warriors defensive strongman is part of our defensive reinforcement plan for the new season,” the club stated following Adekunle’s unveiling.
He is expected to join his new teammates as they prepare for preseason activities.
