NPFL: Katsina United sign free agent Suleiman Idris
Katsina United has signed midfielder Suleiman Idris, the club announced on Tuesday.
Idris returns to Nigeria after a one-season stint with West Armenia FC in Armenia. His transfer to Katsina United follows a failed move to Israeli club Hapoel Afula.
The club expressed optimism that Idris will enhance their midfield options as they aim for a successful season. Katsina United began their campaign with a 1-1 draw against the defending champions, Rangers.
