Katsina United Unveils 11 New Signings Ahead of 2026-27 NPFL Season
KATSINA, Nigeria — Katsina United has announced the signing of 11 new players in preparation for the upcoming 2026-27 Nigeria Premier Football League season, according to a report by DAILY POST.
Among the newly acquired players are Samson Obi, Micheal Ibeh, Koroma Francis, Ubong Essien, and Chinedu Benjamin. The club also enlisted Luis Dadong, Kolawole Oladipo, Joshua Akpan, Emmanuel Bakare, and Abba Musa.
The signings were officially presented by the club’s chairman, Surajo Malumfashi, at the team’s secretariat in Katsina. Malumfashi expressed optimism that these new recruits will enhance the team’s performance during the upcoming campaign.
As part of their preparations, Katsina United is currently engaged in pre-season training ahead of the new league schedule.
