NPFL: Shooting Stars fans call for Yusuf’s sack after Kano Pillars draw

Shooting Stars supporters are calling for the dismissal of head coach Salisu Yusuf following a disappointing performance in the Nigeria Premier Football League. The Oluyole Warriors were held to a goalless draw against Kano Pillars in a rescheduled Matchday 3 encounter on Tuesday in Ibadan.

The result leaves the Ibadan-based team with only one victory in their last six league matches, intensifying frustrations among fans. After the match, chants of “Salisu must go” could be heard throughout the stadium, reflecting the supporters’ dissatisfaction with the team’s recent performances.

As they look to reverse their fortunes, Shooting Stars will next face Kun Khalifat in an upcoming league match.
