Galatasaray Vice-President Under Pressure Following Player Rejections
Serhat Ulueren, a moderator for Telegol, has highlighted the mounting pressure on Galatasaray Vice-President Abdullah Kavukçu following Victor Osimhen’s refusal of the club’s vice-captaincy offer.
Ulueren emphasized fan frustration regarding the club’s inactivity in the summer transfer market. According to quotes published by GS Gazetesi, he stated, “Galatasaray fans are frustrated by the lack of transfers.”
Osimhen’s decision not to accept the vice-captaincy became apparent during a recent pre-season friendly against Rennes, where he declined to wear the captain’s armband, instead passing it to teammate Yunus Akgün.
Ulueren further noted concerns regarding other players, mentioning, “Davinson isn’t playing and wants to go to Como. Barış also has suitors from the Premier League. Why aren’t you solving these problems?”
