‘People now collect money from bandits’ – Pastor Enenche slams ‘irresponsible’ attitude of Nigerians

Pastor Criticizes Nigerians for Making Light of Serious Issues
Dr. Paul Enenche, Senior Pastor of the Dunamis International Gospel Center, expressed concern over what he described as the irresponsibility of some Nigerians who trivialize significant national problems.
During a mid-week service in Abuja on Wednesday, Enenche questioned the reasoning of individuals participating in online giveaways promoted by suspected criminals. His remarks followed reports of users submitting their banking information to a social media account alleged to be run by a bandit.
In a widely circulated video, a young man claimed he was initially offered N100,000 by the bandit, only for the assailant to subsequently demand N100 million.
Leading prayers for the nation that evening, Enenche stated that some Nigerians are undermining the gravity of their circumstances.
“I heard that there are people now canvassing for bandits to send them money, collecting blood money, knowing that this money comes from someone’s blood?” he said.
He further criticized the lack of accountability in the country’s leadership, stating that serious issues, from electoral decisions to judicial problems, often receive no serious response. “If the electoral commission declares anything it decides, no consequence. If the judiciary miscarries justice, nothing happens,” he added.
