Police Academy invites 13th Regular Course applicants for screening
The Nigeria Police Academy (POLAC) in Wudil, Kano State, has announced the opening of applications for its 13th Regular Course, with a screening exercise set to take place from September 9 to 18, 2026.
The announcement was made via a statement by DSP Umar Isah, Police Public Relations Officer, on behalf of the academy’s Commandant, AIG Auwal Muhammad. Candidates are required to print their examination slips between August 25 and September 8.
The screening will consist of a Computer-Based Test (CBT), a physical assessment, medical screening, and a Selection Board interview. The CBT will be conducted in batches based on candidates’ states of origin.
The first batch of the CBT will take place on September 9, involving candidates from Abia, Adamawa, Akwa Ibom, Anambra, and Bauchi states. Subsequent batches will include:
– Batch two on September 10: candidates from Bauchi (Batch B), Bayelsa, Benue, Borno, Cross River, and Delta states.
– Batch three on September 11: candidates from Ebonyi, Edo, Ekiti, Enugu, the Federal Capital Territory, Gombe, and Imo states.
– Batch four on September 12: candidates from Jigawa, Kaduna, Kano, and Katsina states.
– Batch five on September 13: candidates from Kebbi, Kogi, Kwara, Lagos, and Nasarawa states.
– Batch six on September 14: candidates from Niger, Ogun, Ondo, and Osun states.
– Batch seven on September 15: candidates from Oyo, Plateau, Rivers, Sokoto, and Taraba states.
– Batch eight on September 16: candidates from Yobe and Zamfara states.
Candidates must present both original and photocopied documents, which include their Primary School Leaving Certificate, SSCE result, JAMB result slip, birth certificate or declaration of age, Local Government Area indigene certificate, letter of identification, a completed and signed guarantor’s form, a medical certificate of fitness from a government hospital, NIN slip, four passport photographs, and the application acknowledgement slip.
For the duration of the exercise, candidates are instructed to wear a white T-shirt, white shorts, white socks, and white canvas shoes.
The academy advises candidates to arrive a day before their scheduled examination dates, noting that accommodations will be provided on-site throughout the screening period.
Parents will not be permitted to enter the academy during the assessment.
