Police nab four suspected drug dealers in Yobe

Yobe Police Arrest Four Suspected Drug Dealers in Fune Local Government Area
Yobe State Police have apprehended four individuals suspected of drug dealing in Kolere Village, located within Fune Local Government Area. The arrests occurred following a coordinated operation conducted by the Potiskum Area Command on Wednesday afternoon.
According to a statement from the Command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Dungus Abdulkarim, the operation targeted Borno Kichi Market, a known hotspot for drug-related activities. Police raided the market at approximately 3:00 p.m., resulting in the arrest of the suspects and the seizure of various illicit substances.
The recovered drugs included Tramadol capsules, assorted hard drug tablets, Indian hemp, and a rubber solution commonly referred to as “Sholi.”
The suspects, all residents of Kolere Village, have been identified as Hafizu Adamu, 25; Babale Idi, 25; Shuaibu Mohammed, 35; and Shuaibu Musa, 22.
SP Abdulkarim stated that investigations are ongoing, and following their completion, the suspects will be charged in court.
