Transfer: Beşiktaş deny receiving Saudi bid for Ndidi
Beşiktaş Sporting Director Addresses Wilfred Ndidi Transfer Speculations
Beşiktaş Sporting Director Önder Özent confirmed that no official bids have been made for Wilfred Ndidi, captain of the Nigerian national team, who has been a subject of transfer speculation this summer.
While Turkish media outlet Milliyet reported that Al-Ittihad, a club in the Saudi Arabian Premier League, had submitted an offer for the defensive midfielder, Özent clarified that the Turkish club has yet to receive any formal proposal.
“There is interest from Saudi Arabia in Ndidi. However, no official written offer has yet arrived. If one comes, we will evaluate it,” Özent stated during a press conference on Tuesday.
Ndidi joined Beşiktaş from Leicester City last summer. During the previous season, he made 31 appearances for the club and scored twice in all competitions.
