Crystal Palace Targets Takehiro Tomiyasu for Summer Signing
Crystal Palace Football Club has expressed interest in acquiring defender Takehiro Tomiyasu, including him in its pre-season tour in Italy.
Tomiyasu is currently available on a free transfer. He was named as a substitute in the team’s recent 3-0 defeat to RC Lens.
The Japanese international has been training with Palace’s squad, which is currently facing a shortage of players due to the ongoing recovery period for those returning from the World Cup.
Previously, Tomiyasu concluded a short-term contract with Ajax in June, after which he remained in London, where he had played for Arsenal until 2025.
The defender is eager to return to the Premier League but is also attracting interest from several clubs abroad.
