Troops repel suspected terrorists attack in Kaduna

Troops from Sector 1 of Operation FANSAN YAMMA successfully repelled what is believed to be a terrorist attack in Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
The incident occurred on April 29 at approximately 4:30 p.m. in Jarhawa village, where suspected militants targeted civilians, according to a report shared on X by security analyst Zagazola Makama.
Security sources indicated that troops stationed at the Forward Operating Base in Sabon Birni responded promptly to a distress call regarding the attack. Upon their arrival at the scene, the soldiers’ presence prompted the assailants to flee.
One civilian sustained gunshot injuries during the confrontation and received immediate medical attention. Makama reported that the area has since been secured by military personnel, who are continuing efforts to locate the fleeing suspects and prevent any further attacks in the community.
