UCL: Lookman reacts to Atlético Madrid’s win over Manchester United
Atletico Madrid secured a 2-0 victory over Premier League giants Manchester City at the Metropolitano Stadium on Tuesday night.
Pablo Barrios gave the home team an early lead, scoring just one minute into the match with an assist from Alex Baena.
The win was solidified in the 79th minute when Lookman, who had replaced Julián Álvarez in the 71st minute, found the net with a simple tap-in.
“This is a significant win for us,” Lookman said in an interview with CBS Sports Golazo. “The guys delivered a strong performance before I came on, so it was easy to join the team and contribute.”
