UCL: ‘Six offsides in a single match’ – Ozkok sends message to Galatasaray boss, Buruk over Osimhen

Nigerian Forward Suffers Setback in Champions League Match Against Barcelona
Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen faced a challenging outing in Tuesday’s UEFA Champions League match, as his team, Galatasaray, fell to FC Barcelona with a score of 4-1 at Rams Park. The defeat marked Barcelona’s tenth consecutive victory.
Osimhen struggled to make an impact during the match, recording only 12 touches. He attempted three passes, completing two, and managed just one shot, which went off target. In addition, he won three of the nine challenges he contested, lost possession six times, and was caught offside on six occasions out of Galatasaray’s total of eight.
These offside infractions have raised concerns, prompting sports analyst Özkök to suggest that Galatasaray coach Okan Buruk needs to address Osimhen’s positioning issues during play.
Notably, this match marked the first instance this season where Osimhen did not contribute a goal or assist in a competitive game.
