2027: Federal agencies’ CEOs pledge 10m votes for Tinubu

The Forum of Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) of Federal Parastatals and Agencies in Nigeria has announced its support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election campaign, aiming to mobilize approximately 10 million votes for his bid for a second term.

This declaration reflects the Forum’s belief that President Tinubu’s leadership and commitment to national development warrant recognition and collective backing from Nigerians. Members of the Forum argue that their unique roles in implementing government policies enable them to evaluate the administration’s performance effectively.

“We are not merely observers of government; we are practical actors in its implementation,” said a representative from the Forum. “From our experiences, President Tinubu has shown exceptional courage and determination to reposition Nigeria.”

The Forum has commended the President for his transformative leadership and his capacity to make difficult decisions that serve the national interest. They praised his efforts to strengthen Nigeria’s economy and reform its institutions.

Members expressed gratitude to President Tinubu for their appointments as CEOs, viewing these roles as a responsibility to serve the Nigerian populace and further the Renewed Hope Agenda.

With representation from over 400 CEOs and senior leaders nationwide, the Forum plans to leverage its extensive networks across Nigeria’s 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory to support the President’s reelection efforts. They intend to focus on grassroots engagement, directly reaching the communities affected by government policies.

The Forum is committed to ensuring its support translates into organized voter mobilization and is prepared to collaborate with the Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) and other campaign structures to align its efforts with the campaign’s overall strategies.

The group believes that Tinubu’s re-election presents an opportunity to reinforce and expand upon the gains of the Renewed Hope Agenda, fostering a stronger and more competitive Nigeria. They call on all who share this vision to unite in support of the President, contributing to an economically resilient and socially prosperous nation.

The Forum’s message emphasizes their commitment: “Ten million votes is not merely a number; it is a declaration of confidence and collective responsibility toward continuing the Renewed Hope Agenda.”

The announcement was signed by Otunba Biodun Ajiboye, Chairman of the Media and Publicity Committee of the Forum of CEOs of Federal Parastatals.
