NDC National Leader Holds Meeting in Imo State
IMo STATE, Nigeria — Seriake Dickson, the national leader of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), convened with party candidates and stakeholders in Imo State on Saturday.
In a statement shared on his verified social media account, Dickson described the discussions as “very fruitful.” He emphasized the importance of this initial meeting and encouraged the attendees to continue gathering in support of achieving unity and reconciliation among all party members.
Dickson announced plans for the party to send a team of senior officials to Imo State in the near future to assist in reconciliation efforts.
During the meeting, which included key figures such as former Imo State Governor Chief Achike Udenwa, Dickson expressed gratitude for Udenwa’s leadership and urged him to continue enhancing collaboration within the party.
“I thank Chief Udenwa for the leadership he is providing as State Leader in Imo and urge him to do more with the support of the National Leadership of the party,” Dickson stated.
The meeting concluded with a commitment from all participants to work collectively toward the success of NDC candidates in the upcoming elections, reinforcing their roles as agents of reconciliation within the party.
