Ogu, Udeachara, Onuoha win PDP Senate tickets in Abia

PDP Announces Winners of Abia State Senatorial Primaries
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has declared the winners of its senatorial primary elections in Abia State.
Jude Udeachara won the Abia North ticket, securing 39,740 votes. Udeachara previously ran for a House of Representatives seat in 2019.
Bob Ogu, who served as the Abia State Commissioner for Works under former Governor Okezie Ikpeazu, received 18,901 votes to earn the nomination for Abia Central.
In Abia South, Chinyere Onuoha emerged victorious with 33,611 votes, earning the party’s ticket for the 2027 Senate election.
Ikenna Onuoha, Chairman of the PDP Senatorial Election Committee, announced the results at the party’s state office in Umuahia. He noted that the primary election was conducted fairly and without incident, emphasizing that it was achieved through consensus.
Abraham Amah, Chairman of the PDP in Abia, expressed confidence in the party’s preparations for a successful outcome in the 2027 elections.
