Eric Opah Secures APC Governorship Ticket in Abia State
Abia State businessman Eric Opah has secured the governorship ticket of the All Progressive Congress (APC) following a decisive victory in the party’s primary election.
Opah defeated former Minister of State for Science and Technology Henry Ikoh by a substantial margin. The official results were announced by Mr. Bato Nylong, the returning officer for the APC governorship and House of Assembly contest.
According to Nylong, Opah received 126,977 votes, while Ikoh garnered 5,905 votes.
