Tinubu floors rival in Bauchi APC presidential primary, polls 156,541 votes

Bola Tinubu Wins APC Presidential Primary in Bauchi State
Bauchi State—President Bola Tinubu has won the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential primary, receiving 156,541 votes in an election held across the state. He defeated his only opponent, Stanley Osifo, who garnered 2,650 votes.
The results were announced by Professor Muhammad Ali Pate, the Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, who acted as the state collation officer for the primary election.
Pate described the process as peaceful and orderly, praising the turnout as indicative of Tinubu’s continued support among party members in Bauchi State. He acknowledged the efforts of party officials and stakeholders in facilitating a smooth election process.
Delegates and APC representatives from all 20 Local Government Areas of Bauchi State participated in the primary.
Tinubu’s victory further solidifies his position within the party as preparations ramp up for the 2027 general election.
