Pray for safe return of abducted students, teachers – Ohanaeze Ndigbo to Nigerians

Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide Calls for Prayers Following Oyo State Abductions
Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide has urged Nigerians to engage in fervent prayers for the safe return of students and teachers recently abducted in Oyo State.
The organization issued the appeal in a statement from its Oyo State chapter, which was shared with DAILY POST on Sunday. The statement was jointly signed by the chapter’s President, Okechukwu Nwabunike, and Executive Secretary, Promise Aja.
The abductions occurred in several communities within the Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State. Nwabunike condemned the act, describing it as a direct attack on humanity and education in the affected regions.
In light of these events, the organization has called on residents in the impacted communities to cooperate with security agencies in their efforts to resolve the situation. They also encouraged all Nigerians to participate in prayers for the safe return of the victims.
“We urge Nigerians to seek divine intervention for the safe return of those still in captivity,” the statement read. “Our hopes remain for the safe return of the abductees and the apprehension of those responsible for this heinous act.”
