Out of the 16 players from FC Barcelona traveling to the World Cup, five are slated to make their debut on football’s biggest stage.
Three of these players, Lamine Yamal, Cubarsí, and Joan Garcia, will represent Spain in their first World Cup when the tournament begins next week.
Additionally, recently signed forward Anthony Gordon will make his World Cup debut for England. Gordon joined Barcelona from Newcastle United last month.
The fifth debutant is Hamza Abdelkarim, a promising talent from Barcelona’s U19A team. His standout performances have drawn significant attention, earning him a spot on the roster.
