Joe Aribo has reportedly emerged as a target for Rangers as the club considers a potential return for the midfielder, according to the Daily Post.
The 29-year-old recently departed Southampton after the conclusion of his contract with the Sky Bet Championship club. Aribo initially joined Southampton from Rangers in a transfer valued at £10 million four years ago.
During his final season at Southampton, Aribo struggled for playing time and was loaned to Leicester City in January. However, he managed only six appearances for the Foxes, starting just one match.
Aribo had a successful tenure with Rangers, where he spent three years, winning a league title and the Scottish Cup. Notably, he also scored in the UEFA Europa League final, where Rangers were narrowly defeated by the German side Eintracht Frankfurt.
